Hello Word Press, my name is Lisa Abe, and I’m from Japan. Currently, I’m staying in Salisbury, Maryland to take this course. I have experienced online classes since last year, so I’ve gotten used to that type of class now. My expectation of this course is to acquire some skills on how to get more readers because I have another blog account besides this Word Press. However, it’s a Japanese website, so you may want to use google translate if you can’t read Japanese. Additionally, I’m seeking to speak English more fluently in this course because writing blogs may require me to focus on the words that I will use, which may affect reader’s attention. My hobbies are reading books, comic books, and playing video games. I recently completed a game, called Mother 3. A producer of the game is famous for his blog that has interesting word choices. I admire him as a creator and a blogger and hope that I can write a blog that keeps readers entertained and that they like the words that I will use. I’m not sure about my future goal, but I’m looking for something that I’ve always loved, such as media production companies.

The virtual communication that I have experienced is comment sections on social media. Whenever I feel that I want to tell my opinions about posts, I always write down in the comment sections. Sometimes people reply to my comment and discuss if they agree with me or not. Fortunately, all of the people that I have discussed with were very respectful, and there were no negative reactions to my comment. Generally, it’s very hard to make yourself understood on social media, and there is a lot of miscommunication going on. I’m interested in how people think about having conversations in the virtual community, and how would affect the users to behave positively or negatively.
